Wine Tasting Events in Oregon

For the Love of Wine

I'm in the beginning stages of learning the art of wine tasting and appreciation. I say appreciation because wine aficionados tend to be very passionate about their wine. I'm not quite to that point but I do enjoy a good glass of red or white wine. This year my very good friend and I have decided that we are going to attend some very popular wine tasting events, I mean, heck, we live in the Pacific NW, we should like wine, it flows like water here.

Here are some popular events in and around the Portland Metro Area. I'm not sure if we will attend too many events, but we are definitely going to a few. We even have our designated driver lined up!

For my readers--if you enjoy wine, what is your favorite kind?

  2. Willamette Valley Vineyards is a good local brand I appreciate. I really enjoy riesling wines. I highly recommend trying iced rieslings for those who enjoy sweet wines.

    1. It took 20 years from me to like it, and it still makes me a little sick! HAHA! I actually think I have an allergy to red wine, it makes me bright red and blotchy.
